TOPIC: Various types of compressors needed for handling hydrogen including new developments with centrifugal compressors

SYNOPSIS: The hydrogen economy presents new challenges for compression equipment needed to produce and transport pure or nearly-pure hydrogen. New processes require larger volumes of H2 than were historically required which means new compressor solutions are needed. Industry demands smaller installed compression footprints along with improved reliability and reduced maintenance costs. This presentation will cover various types of compressors needed for handling hydrogen including new developments with centrifugal compressors.
