Luiz Soriano

Luiz Soriano is a sales and business development manager at Siemens Energy, with more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry.  Over the past 10 years, he has served in leadership roles in manufacturing, quality, proposals, and sales. Prior to joining Siemens Energy, he worked for 10 years at Voith in Brazil, a leading manufacturer of hydro turbines and paper machines, in technical and leadership roles.

 

Luiz supports the energy transition and decarbonization goals by developing compression solutions for various applications across the hydrogen and CO2 value chain. In this role, he has successfully participated in several projects across the globe working collaboratively with customers to deliver the best compression solution for each project.

 

Luiz earned his Industrial Engineering degree from Uninove - Nove de Julho University, and his post graduate studies in Pulp and Paper Production Technology at the Viçosa Federal University.  He furthered his studies with a Master of Business Administration degree from FGV - Getulio Vargas Foundation.

 

Originally from Brazil, Luiz currently lives in Houston, Texas. He enjoys spending time with his family and cooking Brazilian barbecue. He is passionate about the energy transition and is committed to help society to decarbonize – one compressor at a time.
